3 Ingredient Hemp Milk

This will likely be one of the simplest non dairy milk recipes that you’ll come across. Hemp seeds are extremely nutritious. They are a great source of plant protein and omegas. Unlike nuts, hemp seeds require no soaking or prep. The only tools you will need are a nut milk bag and a high speed blender.

3 Ingredient Hemp Milk

  • 2 Cups Hemp Seeds
  • 4 Cups Water
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract


  1. Add all the ingredients to the blender and process on high until smooth. I like to use twice as much water as hemp seeds. You can use more or less depending on your texture preference.
  2. To get a smoother texture, strain using a nut milk bag. If you blend it well enough you can even get away with omitting this step. It all depends on how smooth you want it.
  3. Hemp milk has a very unique test. If you need to, you can add some dates before blending for sweetness. Play around with different flavorings such as a dash of sea salt, a little cinnamon or a couple some cocoa powder.
  4. Chill before serving.
