Roasted Lemon and Garlic Portobello Steaks

These make a nice and hearty main dish. The recipe is super simple.

Roasted Lemon and Garlic Portobello Steaks

  • 2 Portobello Mushroom Caps
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
  • 2 Tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Sea Salt
  • Cracked Black Pepper
  • Trader Joes Everyday Seasoning (optional)


  1. Heat Oven to 375 degrees
  2. Place the cleaned portobellos on a baking sheet that is lightly greased (Stem side up)
  3. Mixed the olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice in a small bowl
  4. Brush the mixture over the top of the mushrooms
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. If I have it I like to also use a little trader Joes Everyday Seasoning
  6. Bake until the mushroom are cooked through and tender
  7. Squeeze a little extra lemon (optional)

Note: These also taste great when cooked on the BBQ Grill
