We came across a flier for the Taste of South Lake and decided to stop by. There were a couple of cooking demos we wanted to check out. We weren’t sure what else to expect. Turns out they also had several booths from various Pasadena restaurants. Each one was either giving samples or selling cheap small plates. There were several vegan items from places such as Real Food Daily and Veggie Grill.
When I saw a flier to the Taste Of South Lake, I was surprised that two of the four coming demo chefs were vegan. Of course, we had to go check it out. Diets up was Astig Vegan. We were too slow to snatch a sample of the pact but will definitely try the recipe at home. We also got free calamansi.
