This will likely be one of the simplest non dairy milk recipes that you’ll come across. Hemp seeds are extremely nutritious. They are a great source of plant protein and omegas. Unlike nuts, hemp seeds require no soaking or prep. The only tools you will need are a nut milk bag and a high speed blender.
3 Ingredient Hemp Milk
- 2 Cups Hemp Seeds
- 4 Cups Water
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
- Add all the ingredients to the blender and process on high until smooth. I like to use twice as much water as hemp seeds. You can use more or less depending on your texture preference.
- To get a smoother texture, strain using a nut milk bag. If you blend it well enough you can even get away with omitting this step. It all depends on how smooth you want it.
- Hemp milk has a very unique test. If you need to, you can add some dates before blending for sweetness. Play around with different flavorings such as a dash of sea salt, a little cinnamon or a couple some cocoa powder.
- Chill before serving.
